The Apple II FiberNet Interface Card

This is a product of Apple’s Bandley Drive R&D Group, circa 1982, and it’s from my personal collection. It is essentially a 6551-based serial communications card. As far as I can tell, this is now a one-of-a-kind item, as I have yet to find anyone who has another card like it or even knows anything authoritative about it. I assume that at one time, there were more than one in existence.

During KansasFest 2022, fellow retro-computer enthusiast and good friend Ron McAdams visited my basement to see my modest Apple II collection.
